i received care from Dr Ballantyne, (arthroscopic knee sugary). eight months later i had to have my knee repaired right from a different doctor. He does bad work and shows little care about the patient. when i was at my follow-up appt, 30 seconds into it there was a knock on the door, the person said coach is here. Dr ballantyne got up in the middle of a sentence left the room then I could hear him talking to coach. he didn't return to the room to discuss with me why i still had pain and what i needed to do going forward. eights months later i had to have surgery again, there was more damage found. I would not recommend him. also i had my second surgery at a different facility with a much better doctor.

Dr. Ballentyne is a good doctor. A bit arrogant, but he tries to listen before "educating the patient". I think he knows his stuff. But his staff is another story. Nice, friendly, dysfunctional. Don't plan on his office staff to follow through or co-ordinate with insurance companies, or other related providers such as MRI and physical therapy. When I say follow through, I'm not talking about expectations, I'm talking about doing what you were told would happen. I rate him higher as a doctor than I do the overall experience.

On October 20th 2015 my mom went to doctor Ballantyne 4 foot surgery and two weeks later she died from a pulmonary embolism through his malpractice of not giving a diabetic blood thinners to help with a blood clot I no longer have my mother and after her surgery he didn't even have the respect to come into the room to see how she was doing and explain her medicine to her I don't know if this is a normal protocol but my mom works in the healthcare field for 16 years before she passed and she always checked on her patients even though he might be a good doctor he messed up my family and now me and my siblings don't have a mother
