Avoid! This is a SCAM!  

This "doctor" has opened an illegitimate medical practice based on exploratory, unproven medical treatments. 

The receptionist is unprofessional and discusses personal drama in front of patients. 

The office has only one doctor who performs unsanctioned medical "treatment" using an unproven and unsafe brain stimulation machine (it is not CBT, or otherwise referred to as cognitive behavioral therapy). This "treatment" is exploratory to say the least, and it is incredibly dangerous to use real patients as test subjects! 

One final note, they have one "medical biller" they use sends extra medical billing codes in an attempt to bilk patients for everything possible regardless of the quoted office visit amount.  No insurance company will accept this office as a legitimate medical practice. 

Don't believe both the doctor and the receptionist when they provide a billing quote, because despite the fact that they are a one-man show, they will throw every medical billing code possible at you.

I've been a patient of Dr. Xia for a couple years and I feel near cured from my once severe depression.  I have seen four different psychiatrists before finding Brainefit and none of the previous four showed the sense of care that I get with Dr. Xia.  He's not just a good doctor, but a great person. The staff is very friendly and I couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended!!

I like Dr. Xia very much.  The reviewer who said insurance companies won't cover office visits is full of it.  I have Blue Cross.
