My mother has been suffering for months and back and forth to different Dr's, upon seeing Defranco, having all her paperwork (cancer) my mom had no idea she had cancer until he walked in asking "so....you know you have cancer?" That is not how anyone should find out they have cancer! Another appointment was made for a scan of her kidney, except that she has only 1 functioning kidney, the technician refused to do the dye test because of extreme danger and possible kidney failure, Dr did dye anyway after making her wait 5 days and refused saline to flush dye. Then a scope of her bladder was done in the office causing excruciating pain, instead of insisting her bed be lowered to see better, the nurse insisted and took it upon herself to lower the bed to allow him to see better. Instead of removing tumor at that moment with the scope, he scheduled an outpatient at the hospital 2 weeks out. My mother went to a separate Dr and was admitted to the hospital immediately and we then discovered it's stage 4. 4 weeks ago we could have had the tumor removed and chemo started!!! Now 4 weeks later, the cancer has spread from bladder to lungs and into the uterus, this could have been prevented if the Dr took the matter more seriously instead of putting it off for a month. Very disappointed! I would not have given him a star if it let me review with nothing. Can't believe he's licensed!! Truly appalled!
