I couldnt have been more greatful during my experience at Smile Makers. The very first time I went, I had BCBS dental coverage. It was almost a year later when I scheduled another visit. I wasn't asked on the phone if I had any changes in my insurance, which I was doing other things as well while I was on that call, and I was rushing because I was in a hurry. Because of that, there was  a little bit of a set back when I got there the next morning for my apointment. I did have to wait for 10-20 minutes while they ran my new insurance to see if they accepted my new insurance, before they moved me to the back. The young lady who brought me to the back,  went ahead and took the xrays of my teeth. A few minutes later the billing clerk, came to speak to me, to tell me that they were not in network with my insurance. Immediately I became irate, but also worried at the same time because I was thinking, "well they have already started doing work on me with the xrays,, how am I going to pay for this". Well, the billing clerk was very apologetic and she was very nice. She began going over my options, while also calming me by telling me that they would do everything they could to work with me, being sure that I was still able to see the dentist and get the help I needed that day, rather than having to schedule an appointment with a whole other dentist and then having to wait another day or more to get the antibiotics needed for my abscessed tooth... The final agreement we came to was a disocunted rate, that was going to cost me about 75.00 out of pocket right then.. Well by the time I was finished and got to check out, she had even gone the extra mile by waiving a percentage of the xray costs. I left after only having to pay $37.50, which was only $12.50 more than I would have paid if they had accepted my insurance. The dentist I saw that day, and the other time I went was Dr. Barganier, he was very friendly, and helpful when it came to my dental concerns. I would recommend him to anybody looking for a new dentist. In fact the only problem/issue I had at all with my visit, was finding out that I would have to use another Dentist office moving forward because they no longer accept my new insurance.

The worst experience in my life.  They rotate office people out and no one knows how or what to do.  They will lie at a drop of a dime.  They will let you drive an hour to tell you they can't do anything for you at this time because they didn't do their own jobs.  You speak to a new person every few months.  Don't go to them.  Find another place to go.
