Dr. Guidry’s office is like your crazy ex-girlfriend. Super sweet at first and as the relationship progressed..you realized what all your friends were warning you about were true. Dr Guidry made some policy changes. No big deal. I thought that wasn’t a big deal driving to get a paper refill instead of them calling my refill in for me. Inconvenience? Yes. But was willing to put up with it. Then I received a letter stating Dr. Guidry was doing a VIP club where you could join for 1,000 dollars a year. That VIP club would let you cut in line in front of non VIP patients to be seen. There were some other perks but I can’t remember. I myself can wait a few days for an appointment without shelling out $1,000 a year. Fast forward to my last appointment where upon arriving I discovered my appointment was accidentally scheduled on a day that “Dr. Guidry wasn’t in office”. One of the staff asked if I was joining the VIP club and when I said No, she immediately handed me a letter from Dr. Guidry wanting to end our doctor-patient relationship. Dr Guidry had signed it and dated it for that day. I asked the lady, “If Dr. Guidry isn’t here, how could he have signed this today?” The nurse replied, “Well he is here. He’s seeing VIP patients today. You could have been seen but you declined being VIP.” That should say enough about this practice.

I made an appointment a month in advance. I called several times, the phone rang and rang and rang and I gave up. SHOCK, a few days later they called me back. They just called a missed number on the caller ID because I did not leave a message. I made an appointment for the "MEDI-SPA" to have a skin tag on my eye removed, and to see how the service was to have more procedures done for myself and a family member. The day before the appointment the office called and verified the appointment....even verified the reason for my appointment. The day of, I arrived 40 min early to fill out paperwork and chit chatted with the nurse about why I was there. I was taken back in the exam room, sat there for 40 minutes until a nurse came in and said I made a mistake in making my appointment. ME. They said I made a mistake and made an appointment for a service that was not offered on that particular day. No apology, just condescension in the attitude. As if I was an idiot for not knowing their schedule. I had taken the day off from work to do this and the fact I waited a month for this rudeness just inflamed it more. 3 months later, I guess I should not be surprised they did not call back to apologize and try to reschedule. I guess they make enough money without mine.

Can't ever get anyone on the phone, been in the office a couple of times and they just let phone ring!! Fixing to have back surgery and was denied my medication...I have very good inaurance... couldn't believe it!! In so much pain and have nowhere else to turn...all other doctors are a 2 to 3 week wait....your suppose to be able to depend on your doctor!!! All about the money I guess??? Very disappointed in this doctor and his staff!!!!!
