Dr Spatola performed lumbar fusion surgery on me recently. Top notch doctor - very thoroughly explained to me what was to be done, answered all of my questions, and displayed an excellent bedside manner. A month and a half after my surgery I'm feeling great with very little pain. Couldn't be more satisfied!

Dr Mark Spatola is praised by his peers. We were told by everyone in the hospital the day of my surgery that I was in good hands; that he was the best in his field. We believe it and I have trusted him with my back. I am in month 6 of the recovery process and I cannot complain.

My surgery was very successful. It involved my L3 and L4 discs. I had a severe pain from my right groin area that felt like an arrow shooting out through just above my right side of my waistline----constant pain. Dr. Spatola's surgery was able to stop that excruciating, 24/7 Pain! I thank him so very much! (Also, he deserves excellent marks for his empathy and kind manner employed both before and after the surgery was completed.). I definitely rate Dr. Mark Spatola, M.D., with the highest possible ranking of 5 Stars for the neurological surgery he performed for me; I will recommend him to family and friends if such need arises.

10 Days ago I had surgery, yes I feel the pain of the surgery but it is nothing comparing to the pain before the surgery...I already am getting feeling and strength in my leg, I no longer have to lift my leg to move it!!!! What joy to know that I am better than I thought possible. SMART DOCTOR!!!! This wonderful Doctor on more than one occasion has called me to discuss questions called into his office, who does that anymore? Dr Mark A Spatola MD does that!!! He takes his patients seriously and tends to their every concern. Thank you so much for my chance to live a normal life again. God Bless You and your awesome side kick Effie~!!!!!

Had a Lumbar procedure a degenerated disc pushing against the sciatic nerve very uncomfortable. Dr Spatola walk me through the entire procedures and the healing process. Everything went just he said I'm pain free never experienced pain like that before. Less than 30 minutes after the procedure was done I was up walking pain free. I'm still following the Doctors instructions after my first 3 weeks I was able to start my physical training again with limitation and the approval and instructions of Dr Spatola. Thanks Dr Spatola very professional at what you do.
