Dr Johnson was very attentive and explained everything in office prior to me going to surgery center. 2 weeks later when he saw me for only the second time he remembered me! I know that can be hard when to so many patients! Love how he took special care in OR to make sure he had right patient, right procedure, right everything before starting! Thanks!

I was referred to Dr Johnson when I was released from the hospital after being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. I was very very ill and bad off. My husband explained to him that the medication they wanted me on my insurance wouldn't cover and we couldn't afford $1,000 a month out of pocket. He made my husband feel as if that weren't acceptable. Like he was failing as my spouse. Because most people can fork out that kind of money on a medication right? Come to find out, that wasn't even a medication he uses often! So he was a jerk for nothing. And tell me why I needed a rectal exam 2 days after just having a colonoscopy? I found that to be ridiculous. Needless to say, there were other medications I could try. I do HIGHLY recommend the PA that works with him though. Her name is Jamie Johnson (no relation) and she's fabulous.

Dr Johnson did a colonoscopy on me about 8 months ago,he did a very good job with no complications and afterward sat down with me and talked about the procedure in a professional and mindful manner.i would recommend him to anyone who needs this procedure.

Terrible bed side manner. Dr. Johnson is very cocky and tries to belittle you. Doesn't make you feel welcomed or comfortable. Save yourself the trouble. His front desk is very nice and polite but the actual doctor needs a reality check.
