I have been seeing Dr. Ruggiero for a couple years now. Each time I have seen him he seems to be genuinely concerned about my well being. He is also very thorough, even though he is frequently in high demand. He explained what what wrong with my sinuses in detail, ordered the correct test to confirm it, and explained how the surgery would help. At one point I made a comment about my hearing and he gave me a hearing test during the same appointment to verify it was not being caused by a secondary source. At times he can be brief, however it is understandable because of his high demand. I would rather have a Dr that is short and straight to the point and is good, the a Dr. who is long winded and is not very competent. Over all I recommend Dr. Ruggiero for your ENT needs, and have to others who have had a good experience with him. He is also a Navy Vet, thank you for your service.

If bedside manner and having a kind, compassionate doctor who listens is important to you I wouldn't go see Dr Ruggiero. My pcp referred me to his office, and I had a very negative experience, not by the other girls in the office, only because of him. Right off the bat I felt like I was being quizzed on my symptoms and everything I said was met with a cocky attitude of 'well that's not sinus related' , 'well that can be caused by other things' ... it's as if he didn't believe me, and that I was a complete waste of his time. He was demeaning and upsetting and made me feel stupid for even coming to see him. Don't waste your time and money.

my husband has nose bleeding and bleeding no stop,our situation would went to many different way ,but doctor Ruggiero treat us right,take care asap,very fair to us,did perfect job,receptionist and nurses very nice,very friendly,it is best clinic we've ever been

Same situation happened to me with other assistant there. I was very sick with cold blisters all over my mouth and lips. I am patient to Mayo Clinic but was too far for me to drive sick so I went to see Dr Herrera. He never looked my throat at all, gave me medicine for blisters. Next day I couldn't drink water. I went to primary doctor at Mayo Clinic and came positive of step throat. I called the assistant to Dr Herrera told me they don't do any step throat test there. She start talking to me without respect and professional matter. Asked me where I was from original. Very inappropriate question. Told me that maybe I misunderstood her, when she told me he ordered a prescription for me, when never happened. Second call because never got the medicine, she stated to go to my primary doctor to prescribed something. Dr Herrera was too busy to see me. Hang on the phone on me. I called back and she didn't want take the call at all. Shame how they run business there. Doctors are busy but they need to put more attention in their staff too. Is our insurances paid them for their salaries is not free. I was a patient of Dr Ruggiero father, excellent, and professional doctor. Sad his son don't have a excellent staff to representative his office on professional matter very well.

Dr. David Ruggiero is one of the most professional, caring doctors I have ever seen. He figured out a problem with my throat that I had for over 2 years. I did not require surgery as prescribed by another doctor. Dr Ruggiero saved me from a painful and extensive surgery and I am much better today. I very highly recommend him.
