Dr. Gowda is a very knowledgeable professional.  He treated me for PTSD. He had good insight and overall he helped me through a very difficult time. He is an individual practitioner who does not have an in-house receptionist. His office is very comfortable for both adults and children and he treats both. His answering service/receptionist aka Wife is frazzled and perhaps overwhelmed with tasks at times.  I would just say, let's try not to be so hard on each other. She may want to suggest getting herself an assistant to help with her husbands growing clinical practice. Just a suggestion. ~Any one who reads this I wish you well~

Dr. Gowda is highly unprofessional.  He has no receptionist in his office. They gave me an appointment on the phone, when I came to appointment said I wasn't in system. He said call that phone number and tell the manager.  It was his personal business card.  It appears wife at home answers and ruffles threw papers trying to find my appointment. 
He was rude in person. And his phone number manager (aka wife @ home?) was rude over the phone.  Unbelievable lack of protocol.

In my opinion this doctor has absolutely no bedisde manner i went to him for post surgical stress and anxiety he was not really able to diagnose me with anything besides maybe some anxiety and insomnia and when i told him about another disorder i was suspecting i had he refused to see me anymore! which is good because i would never see him anymore anyway. Another complaint i have is i feel he just kept trying medication that did not work, i feel that he's a total pill pusher.. i knew i  would be better off seeking help somewhere else  regardless  of wether i had the option to see him or not. now im fine and feeling so much better with absolutely no major mental health issues that require medication at the moment .. cannot say i would be the same way if i stayed with this doctor...

I have been seeing Dr. Gowda for about six months. He seems like a competent medical practitioner.
