Our family has been treated by the Seltzer doctors for decades, and now that I'm getting older, it's my turn to deal with orthopedic issues. Contrary to other reviews here, I had very positive experiences with the three or four staff members with whom I interacted as well as of course with Dr. Seltzer himself. I was really surprised and thrilled to learn that - when he needed to confirm something via x-ray; he had an x-ray machine right there in the office, so he was evaluating and showing me my x-rays within 15 minutes! Historically with other doctors, I would have had to set up an x-ray or scanning appointment at an imaging center, take the time to go to that location and have the tests, then take more time with a follow-up appointment with the doctor after he received the tests. This often meant a lot more phone communication (and potential for miscommunication), time and travel as well as extra week(s) in pain while waiting for the x-rays or scans and the follow up appointment. Dr. Seltzer has a gentle, calm, yet candid manner, and he's very likable. He also listens and explains things well. I'm very glad to have had the opportunity to have him as one of my doctors and for sure would recommend him.

If I could I'd put a -5 star, I would. I can tell you that Dr Seltzer is a wonderful and excellent caring surgeon. One of the best. With that being said, there is office staff who should retire already. They are beyond rude, disrespectful, and just plain NASTY! I am a nurse who was just trying to communicate care of my husband and was accused of "pulling the nurse card" really? This person and I had been on great terms in the past when my son had seen by Dr Seltzer for a broken arm. I have no idea what has happened but will never use them again. Please, think twice. So sorry Dr. Seltzer.

The absolute most horrific experience I have ever had when dealing with a medical office. I called in and was speaking to a wonderful person named Charity I believe. All of a sudden I was getting yelled at by a woman who didn't identify herself. She was yelling at me that I wasn't answering her question and that I don't have any sense in how an office is run, and that I have no idea what I am talking about. When I asked her name she stated "Dr. Davis, Dr. Seltzer's wife". I am APPALLED that someone who is so invested into his reputation would act like that. Do yourself a favor and trust these reviews. This woman must hate life beyond measure to conduct herself in such a manner. I am not sure if Dr. Seltzer is the same since I never made it past the witch on the phone to schedule an appointment. All I can say is that she needs to find Jesus or a bottle of happy pills.

Tore the miniscus in left knee, hit the ground. Had a long history of knee problems and had been warned some years before that I might need major work someday. Went to Dr. Seltzer because I knew his brother, an ENT specialist. He examined my knee, operated arthroscopically on an out-patient basis, and I have never had another moment's issue or pain in almost 10 years. Went back to him a couple of years later for a serious right ankle injury - again, highly skilled, professional services with complete satisfaction.

I can’t use the four letter c- word that describes the woman office manager. She is the most disrespectful woman you will ever meet which is sad when you need surgical help and are going through an emotional period in your life. Never again. The surgeon is also stuck in 1960s and missed derangement that was pictured in MRI and even in his surgical notes and pictures but he forgot to correct.... better off in a Mexican bodyshop ortho clinic.
