Story

The Be Well Medical Center is a medical clinic designed with your health in mind. This office is staffed by Dr. Paul Benson and his colleagues Caleb Youngblood PA-C, Kaitlyn Seltzer NP, and Dr. William Powers. There are friendly front-office receptionists and knowledgeable and caring medical assistants helping as well. We all care deeply about your medical health and want you to be as healthy as possible. We wish to help with any medical need you have or put you in contact with specialists when needed.

We see all patients from young and old to sick and healthy.We also have 2 HIV care specialists who would be glad to walk through that illness with you.

There is also an on-site pharmacy, called Medcart, for your prescription needs.

Dr. Benson himself is GREAT. This review is for the PA who works in his office, Kaitlyn Seltzer. I went to her about an issue I have been dealing with for months. My anxiety regarding this issue was very high, however, I decided to bite the bullet and get the opinion of a medical professional. Kaitlyn brushed my concerns off immediately, claiming that the issue was caused by two of my body parts rubbing against one another. Mind you, these body parts don't completely reach each other, let alone touch. When I explained to her that this could not possibly be the case, she rolled her eyes and asked 'How do you know?'. When I explained that I know my own body, she told me that she could not help me, because I "obviously don't want any help". She refused to listen, was condescending, smug, and ultimately walked out of the room we were in. I made my way to the front desk, wondering if I should have to pay for a visit in which I was told that she could not help me, and overheard her discussing my private health information with Dr. Benson so loud that I could hear her all the way at the reception desk (this is a HIPAA violation). Dr. Benson invited me into his office, took one look at the issue I was experiencing, and was able to make the determination that I need to see a specialist. I have been coming to this office for years, my son has also been seen by this office for years, and I have never experienced anything like this. Kaitlyn was smug, condescending, and incredibly flippant about an issue that I was noticeably scared about. Dr. Benson apologized to me for her rude behavior, however, she did not apologize whatsoever. As I left the office, she handed me a card for the specialist, to which I said 'Thank you.' She didn't acknowledge my thanks at all, and walked away without saying a word. I recommend this office, however, I strongly advise that you steer away from the extremely arrogant Kaitlyn Seltzer.

Zero stars would suit much better. One of the most rude, condescending doctors I've had the unfortunate joy of speaking with. Incredibly abrasive and clearing values himself and his time far above anyone else, including his own patients and fellow medical staff. Extremely egotistical, arrogant, and self centered and gives a bad name to the nice, kind, decent MD's that are actually grateful to have the job and life they have instead of belittling and demeaning people like their insignificant. Probably nothing more aggravating to deal with then someone who obviously believes they are far better and above everyone else. PS, your not special and get over yourself....

Awful doctor, the worst I have EVER seen!! Benson was beyond rude. I asked a question and he started to yell at me. Not only is the man brash, but he's also incompetent; I have never been to a worse doctor. His medical advice landed me in the hospital for a week. I could go on, but there's only so many ways to spin it. This guy is an absolute and total quack. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone!

Most amazing doctors office I have been to. Hasn't been over booked. No serious wait. Doctors are personable and professional. There is an on sight therapy dog most days.

Called the office and explained I was a new patient wanting to make an appointment. I was then forwarded to a voicemail where I left a message and haven't been called back- it's been over two weeks. Terrible system for new patients.
