I had the pleasure of being a patient under Dr. Sally Murad's care along with Dr. Shanbom. They are competent, ethical, caring and an absolute pleasure. I cannot say enough great things about my experience with both of them. From my consultation to the procedure and beyond they made sure that I knew every detail and was comfortable. I loved that the Dr's walked me through every step during the surgery so I was never left unaware of what was happening to me. I went from legally blind to now seeing 20/15. I am beyond happy. THANK YOU!

I was nervous about having cataract surgery, but Dr. Shanbom and his staff were wonderful and understanding. The surgery was painless, and my vision is back! I never thought I would be able to see as well again, but I am, I"m so happy and thankful for the results.

I had cataract and vision correction surgery in September and have had a great experience. All questions and concerns were answered, the procedures were clear and all were done timely. I was reluctant to have anything done to my eyes but the cataracts necessitated I do and now I am seeing clearly without my contacts and couldn't be more grateful. Everyone there was professional and helpful and made the experience as easy as possible. I recommend Dr.Shanbom and his staff without reservation.

I had a great experience with Dr. Shanbom and the entire staff! I had LASIK done and previously, couldn't see further than about 6 inches from my face. Now, I have 20/20 vision and can see better than I ever did with glasses or contacts! I'm so happy that I did this - Dr. Shanbom and the staff made it a great experience. I am forever thankful to all of them!! I would highly recommend Dr. Shanbom!

Why wait for cataract surgery? Have it as soon as possible. I was leery about having eye surgery and wanted to wait until I really needed it. That was a mistake...I could have had a whole year of vision if I acted sooner. I have been wearing glasses or contacts since the age of 3. Because of my extreme astigmatism, I was not a candidate for lasix surgery. When cataracts interfered with my vision,I followed up on a recommendation from a friend and was evaluated by Dr.Steven Shanbom. How happy I am now. No contacts! No glasses! I have 20:20 vision. The office staff are all professional and experienced.Equipment is top notch. I had my right (distance)eye corrected first. Then, two days later, I had the left eye corrected. Both procedures were painless. I would highly recommend this physician.
