It is February 28th and I am retracting my statement about Dr. Peña. I realized that it was myself that was causing the problem with me using Afrin. I was addicted to it. It takes about a year for the swelling to go down in your nose. I didn't know that was the case. I thought it only took a month or two to be back to your old self. I had no idea that recovery would take so long. It's been 4 days since I've used Afrin and I'm not ever going to use it again. I can already breathe through my nose a little better. It will be a while before I'm back to my old self. Sorry Dr Peña about the bad publicity. In my defense it wasn't explained to me by you or anyone else that this is a long recovery time. In your defense I have stopped using the Afrin once I realized that that was causing secondary congestion.

Worst doctor I have ever been to. He rushed through the appointment and acted like I was stupid everytime I asked a question. Looked in my ears for not even a 1/4 of a second and told me there was nothing he could do, that nothing was wrong. If I can't hear out of one of my ears and there a constant ringing and buzzing noise for the past week and a half there is obviously something wrong. From the time I sat down on the room I was there a total of about 8 minutes before Dr.Pena was walking me out. I recommend going to another doctor that will actually take their time and care about their patients concerns.

I was referred to Central Park ENT (and Dr Pena specifically) by my pulmonologist to see if there was some nasal problem that was causing my breathing issues. That was over a year ago. I had sinus surgery in Sept of 2016 and everything has been wonderful since then. The staff has always been super friendly and I always felt like they cared about how I was doing. I'd recommend them without a second thought.
