He is the best so I drive a long way to see him. My longest wait was 10 min. He is a very busy because he is a great doctor. These days for a doctor to keep a private practice going is a challenge with poor reimbursement rates they have to see a high number of clients. I can imagine it is exhausting. I just called and option #4 is to schedule an appointment. I just did that and it took all of two minutes. And I have an appt in one week. With my other doctor it takes a six month wait to get an appt.

I should have been more careful and trusted other patients. Terrible and rude staff. Arrogant physician and NP. If you'd rather wait 60+ minutes for a sub par service where the doctor and staff humiliate patients with their arrogance and uncaring attitude, this is a place for you.

Dr. Hartman is probably the best Endocrinologist in North Texas. Making an appointment to see him however, is a real challenge. As of the first week of 2017, a merathon voice prompt will greet you. One of the most long winded prompts encountered so far. It takes you through detailed instructions informing you of useless, unwanted information before getting to the appointment prefix (1). If you think this review is long, it's a warp speed read compared to the office voice over. The finest, most well educated, highly regarded Doctor among his peers is absolutely useless to patients if they can't get in to see him! Degrees and awards look great on the wall, but don't satisfy patient needs.

For anyone looking to be employed here, run! This doctor took out about $25 from 2 of my checks without any reason. The "pay stubbs" which are basically the checks we get were completely wrong. They didn't have the number of hours we work or how much we get paid per hour. The only thing it has was the net pay, gross pay (which on one check, both were the same amount for mine), and what they take out from your taxes. When I did the mad, my checks would not add up but I never said anything because it was just $50 and I decided to quit. If an employee asks for their pay stubbs here, they will say "ok I'll get them for you" but they never do. I'm still waiting for mine and I asked for them 5 months ago when I was working there and after I quit. Also he is very rude to his staff and later wants to apologize and pretend nothing happened. For patients: You will wait a few hours only to be seen for 5 mins. I was the receptionist. I was told to schedule 3 patients (except certain patients like the new ones) for every 15 mins of the day so in the schedule, you could only see him for 5 mins and be charged for a 25 min appointment. This scheduling method didn't leave us much room to work with if we fell behind with patients for some reason or another. The staff sees patients all day mon-fri and they do the best they can to complete any paperwork or requests you have. Please have a little patience with them. Dr.Hartman seems to care a lot about getting good reviews. So my advice to him is be a good Doctor/Employer and you will get good reviews.

Great doctor, but that is where it ends. Long wait times, very little time with the doctor if you manage to see him. Last couple of times I only saw the nurse practitioner! The staff is very unprofessional and not properly trained. I was recently left in the waiting room due to their poor record keeping. The doctor sent me to another doctor, and the staff promised to send the medical records, but did not. Filled in paperwork to release info, but nothing seems to work. Also, it seems that their recorder is left on night setting many times since I am unable to reach any one during their opening hours!!
