I don't even know where to start with this wonderful journey with Dr. Wheeler. I randomly found her through Google when my husband and I were settling on our first house in the area. We wanted to confirm if we we're welcoming a little one into this world! From the beginning, we were worried about the long waits, but man...Everytime we have gone in the last year and half, it has been joyful, caring, personal, and attentive to details. Our daughter loves her and we enjoy (never thought was possible for just going for check ups) going as a family now. You do need to get there about 30 minutes early. With great care for each for her patients, comes a great wait for everyone. :) The second she walks in, you can share anything and everything. If you are seeking a doctor that also have great referrals as well, she's your gal! Last thing to mention is she does have wonderful staff and they do warm up overtime as they can be a bit shy at first! New location will be updated. To the years to come. :B

Dr. Wheeler and her staff are kind, compassionate, and thorough. She always takes as much time as needed with me and listens to all my healthcare concerns. For the first time in my life, I feel like I have a partner in keeping both my body and my mind healthy and happy. I recently moved an hour north of her but she is worth the drive.

Dr. Rosie Augustin-Wheeler is a rare gem. My family and I are very thankful and blessed to finally have an old-fashion physician (truly there for the patients). My family and I have been patients of her office for over three (3) years. Dr. Augustin-Wheeler treats my family like we are a part of her family. When she asks “how are you doing”, she truly means “how are you doing”. She comes into the room and treats me, and listens to all of my elements. She has NEVER made me feel that her time is limited, and she’s NEVER been in a hurry to get to the next patient. When she walks into the exam room, she is there for me and wants to truly know how I am doing. Her entire office is very professional, friendly, warm-hearted, kind, respectful, and very professional. My family and I have had some emergencies, and Dr. Agustin-Wheeler has taken the time to work us into her office even missing her lunch breaks to make sure that our family was seen. I love her and her staff, and my family and I will continue see her for medical guidance. If you are looking for a physician who’s knows you by your name (not by a chart), who gives you her full attention and time, pays close attention to your medical care, and treats you as if you are a part of her family then you need to seek an appointment with her office.

I have been a patient at San Gabriel Family Medicine for about two years. I am very impressed with Dr. Augustine-Wheeler and happy with her receptionist. I haven't had a doctor since my late childhood that truly focuses on hearing me and treating me with good results. I've learned that even if I have doubts about a certain treatment she is recommending (like physical therapy or a certain medication), if I follow her recommendations I end up with great results. When I leave a morning message, if I don't hear back by the afternoon I may call again. However, I rarely have to, because my calls are returned and my phone requests are handled within a day. In addition, when I need a refill on a routine medication and call the pharmacy, even if there are no refills remaining, it is filled by the next day. In my experience, this does not usually happen this quickly even in large, multi-staff offices. If you want an office of multiple, high volume telephone staff, then you have to go to a clinic or group. However, you will be giving up a lot of personal attention to your health and instead fall under a patient-doctor set time limit usually resulting in a diagnosis and treatment of the most frequent illness of the time. Even with a high volume of patients, Dr. Wheeler and her office keep the work in motion and the needs met. And, Dr. Wheeler's memory and focus is unparalleled.

Dr Wheeler and her Staff are professional, curtious and Dr. Wheeler is tbe best primary care physician I have had.
