I used Drake in the past, and had good service.  The last guy that came out replaced the fuse on my HVAC system, and didn't proper diagnosing of the system to figure out what was tripping the system.  Instead of hooking up his multi-meter, he just kept popping in more fuses, and tripping it again from testing.  Then as soon as he saw the Nest thermostat, the older guy freaked out thinking that was the problem.  Then once I took the thermostat off for him, he connected the wires manually, which popped the fuse yet again.  Then he realized the wire for "cooling" (AC) was the problem, he checked the AC unit.  He checked the wires and said "oh its these spider webs that are blocking the connection".  He cleaned it off and popped yet another fuse.  He then had to search his truck high and low for 15 minutes for another fuse.  He came back in finally with the fuse and the multi-meter, and found the issue in the AC unit, and replaced the part.  After all was done he just pulls up a chair in my kitchen and start searching his tablet for all the prices, which was a chore for the guy.  This job took 2 hours, which was crazy.  I think the company probably is good, but the technician they had that day was terrible.  OH, and he charged me for all the fuses that day.  I disagreed with him for a moment, and finally realized I just needed him to leave my home.

We have a non-standard, older plumbing system and recently Matt and John responded quickly to our recent crisis. They took the time to help us understand our issue and how to better maintain the system.  I'm certain we will need them again, and I must say we will be grateful they are our resource. Trust is so important!

Do not call them!!! I called to see about hooking up swamp cooler and about possible replacement cooler for another room. Tech showed up told me he had no clue and had never seen a cooler such as the one I had. I then had to explain where I thought the water hooked up to and was right, he said he would need to take it apart, when I questioned why he said he wasn't sure and would just see if worked just turning it on. i took him to the basement to show him water hookup and he asked why it wasn't attached, I explained how I had drained it so it didn't freeze over the winter. He hooked up ONE  thing that I had to tell him how to do!!!! Then I was charged 165$ DO NOT ALLOW THESE PEOPLE TO RIP YOU OFF!!!!!!
