Story

Hi my name is Lalonie Willhite I am the owner of Dream Of Kalamazoo which is a studio salon located in Kalamazoo MI it was founded in Covington, Ga in 2012. I am originally from Kalamazoo MI, but Georgia is where God ministered to me in showing me that this is my calling and not only was it a blessing but that I had work to do.



Upon God showing me this he placed me in the position to work under many influential people who were experts at their craft. I worked for Djea Natural Hair spa which is where a lot of my natural hair care skills originated, working here I came up with a tool to take Dread Locks Down and getting hair tresses back on track from many years of abuse and strain which I felt was missing in this industry which is my specialty.




I worked for T.H.S salon where I gained my coloring techniques which landed me a Color Professional and Educator with Farouk Color System. And in 2012 my hair styles was featured in Jet Magazine. Upon getting very serious about my craft I went to school to become a Hair School Instructor and received my licensing with high honors with Golden Razor Academy and was hired shortly after and taught here for 1 Year.




I've been in this industry for 10 years and it has become part of my life. when I hit the floor every morning not only am I thanking God for waking me up and for my beautiful family but my ultimate Goal is to make sure I'm dishing out nothing but Quality, Professionalism, and making sure when Any client steps foot in the salon that its all about you and making sure your pleased.Thank you and look forward in servicing you in the near future Dream Of Kalamazoo.
