Story

Tromblay Salon and Gallery opened on April 1, 1992. Owners Albert and Susan Trombley renovated the J.W. Bosman Building (1909) at the corner of Burdick and Dutton streets in downtown Kalamazoo. What was formerly a soda fountain, laundromat, and appliance store has now been transformed into a colorful and comforting space for peerless salon services, boutique shopping, and local art exhibitions. Mission

Quality is central to everything we do. Our team is committed to providing expert, consistent salon services where the client receives an honest professional opinion about looks that fit his or her needs and image. Tromblay uses Goldwell haircolor (www.goldwell.com) and Wella haircolor, and always tailors color services to a client's individual needs. We also use our own specially formulated line of shampoos and conditioners, and styling products by Sebastian, ArtTec, AG, and Rusk.

Each appointment at Tromblay begins with a full consultation where we discuss your goals and limitations, the health of your hair, your lifestyle, and more. Shampooing and styling are included with all hair services. It is our passion to provide you with excellent, individualized services.
