My mom and I had a work function on Tuesday and were crunched for time. I just got a coupon in the mail so I suggested we go to Dress Barn since I saw some cute things online. Around 3:30 we popped into the store and were hoping we could have someone make recommendations or help us find the items we saw online. There was an associate towards the front snapping pictures of displays with an IPad and didn’t even look up or acknowledge we were there. Another lady was towards the back of the store walking around fixing clothes. We had to seek her out to open the dressing room at which point she just opened it and made no conversation. The outfit my mom tried on was okay, but we actually opted not to buy based on the horrible customer service. As I waited for my mom to change another lady took a personal call at the register. It was appalling. This experience was a prime example of why I don’t waste my time going into stores because the customer experience is pretty much dead. People just don’t have the work ethic or understanding of how to do their job anymore. Sad! I will never be back.
