Completely changed from a year ago its sad when good customer service goes down the drain specially if one Services all the keys only the keys including their county offices fields and schools, being completly empty with 3 people sitting at their desk they can't work and assist in getting a duplicate license made being I only service the keys and ocean Reef.
I wish they are more polite to people! they are trying their best to get their life together do everthing the right way as they say . Bought a car they said it needs to be vin inspection by sheriff and we did exactly that . He came check the car if it’s stolen , vin verification and sign it . He says it’s all good to go . He didn’t put the mileage on the car but we didn’t know it would be an issue . We said 110.000 millage on it but he didn’t write it maybe he forgot . They send us back our travel takes 30 mins also they were about the close . They told us call them again do the inspection again . They didn’t care how hard people to create time , figure out and go back to next day . They didn’t care it was my friend first experience buying a car registration by herself and she end up crying over it in a parking lot because it was a lot for her . They use to be good people there seem actually care and help . I do understand they do everthing by the rule most of the time they don’t even know or go actually see the car how millage it has . But they find good hearted person she was already going through a lot to figure things in life . Her happy moment turn into a nightmare over this because she is working hard in week days it was hard for her to create time for it next day . I hope someone in charge see this actually or everyone in this office treat every person equally . Do the same checking every person getting title work they physically go see the millage and all .
Like many others, I drove for 2.5 hours only to be turned away. I am actually a former police officer, but they will only serve current first responder/military. It's a shame considering there was only 3 people in the waiting area. I made sure to arrive early. I can understand this rule if they were inundated with out of town customers, however I doubt that is the case. The reason I made this drive is because Miami-Dade County is run in a profoundly incompetent way. No one should have to stand in line for hours to get their license renewed/altered/etc. However, it's a testament to how poorly Miami is run that people would rather drive for hours than stand in line for hours. Now that is no longer an option. Extremely frustrating.
If you Florida resident, this driver license office not for you. They accept only local guys. They thinking Monroe county is not part of FL state.
3 employees at the counter, empty waiting room, yet they refuse to help anyone who isn't from Monroe County. Our subsidized tax dollars not at work.
Terrible people work there. They come up with their own rules. I'm from another city in Florida, they said they won't change my license because they only serve local residents. My anger cannot be expressed!
Can’t get a Florida driving license if you don’t live in Monroe county unless you are Military. Florida is Florida. Or am in in Cuba?
Unbelievable and Unacceptable the way they treat the public in this location . I was here two weeks ago to do an address change on my license and was told I could come and do my daughters as well never was mentioned that you had to be a Monroe county resident when I was here two weeks ago , today I drive all the way down here and they refuse to service me this supervisor who’s always at the front door loud and rude tells me the reason is somebody put out a Google with some kind of issue so she Can’t do it anymore and she isn’t going to lose her job over it . This type of service and inability to handle the public in a professional manner and change rules on her own either you let dade county residents in or not instead of making the decision as you please changing from one week to the next is what should get her terminated what a horrible person to have as a representative for the State Of Florida the public deserves better we pay her salary !
Extremely rude. Unwilling to help. Place empty, but to busy on cell phones.
Does not service anyone other than Monroe, I live in Florida City and was told, Cannot be helped ‍
