Story

Find your destination campsite nestled along the Big Wind River in a beautiful valley between the Wind River Range and the Absaroka Range. You'll be in the heart of Dubois, a rustic western town 90 minutes east of Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks. It's mountain camping at its best, with all the conveniences of town. The Dubois area offers great access to wilderness and recreational areas (30 miles east of the Continental Divide). Spend a day trout fishing out your front door. This KOA is big-rig friendly and offers full hookups with cable, Cabins, a playground, an indoor heated pool, a game room, laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi and a convenience store. Equestrian sites with corrals are available for those traveling with horses. Attend the weekly rodeo.

Reviews
l liked this park. A lot of other reviews talk about the friendly, helpful staff and the clean facilities. All true. I was surprised that a number of sites back right up to the Wind River and were grassy - even in August. The pool also surprised me - it is a nice indoor pool, perfect for kids. Everything was great except the phone and wifi - both are spotty (hence the 4 stars) the signals for both come and go...super frustrating. BUT...I am not sure any other RV park in Dubois is any better. I solved the problem by going to the coffee shop across the street and to the library.

Very nice area, easy to access, convenient to shopping and activities. Great place to stop before going into Yellowstone or after coming out. Dubois is a friendly town to stop and enjoy the peacefulness of the Wind River and Absaroka Mtns. So refreshing to get away from the crowds of Yellowstone and the outrageous expense of Jackson Hole.
