Absolutely one of the best bars in the world! Great atmosphere and old school bar feeling. Incredible food!!! The cheeseburger was so amazing I’m going to be a regular! Old school Miami vibe and feel
I been coming to this Irish Tavern for over 15 years and it never disappoints. Fantastic bar food and awesome staff. Always a great place for a pint of Guinness. Julio.. is the best, he will never let your pint glass run empty..Truly a gem of a place. Kid-friendliness: Open area in the back of the establishment and kids menu available. Parking: Plenty of parking and free of charge. Super rare in Miami these days. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramps available.
Aesthetically it’s pleasing. But that’s about it. If you’re there to watch the game and drink a beer you’re in the right place. But the quality of food is lackluster at best. Our fries were undercooked. Twice! There is nothing super about the salad. If you get the chips and salsa they literally just open a bag of chips poured in a bowl and pour some salsa in a bowl for you. You would have a better experience buying some Tostitos and some cheap salsa. The staff did seem nice though. I wouldn’t go there to eat I would just go there and drink a beer.
Excelente, my fiancé Rodrigo and I had an amazing night out. They had the best customer service and it gave me me family vibes also . Yosvany or jovanny was an Amazing waiter gracias thank you
The food is normal. Don’t expect anything freshly made. Less than 30 second from the time we ordered then food was out. The waiter took our order for grilled chicken wings but brought deep fried. We asked for celery and carrots and they brought us a cup of chille soup instead. When we asked for the bill they shared a handwritten paper worth the total and the actual invoices was hidden under the paper. When we checked the bill we realized they charged us more beers than we had. We told the server and he was not happy. He told us that they don’t accept credit card and we can only pay with cash. He made a big fuss to remove the extra beers from the bill. Will never go back to this place again.
Was there many years ago, at the time there were a lot of UM students doing beers and games of ring toss; I think on Thursday night. Drinks and food were good enough for a neighborhood style pub. yes I would recommend
Shady and horrible. Came with some friends after school. Waiter's service wasn't that great and he had an attitude. We asked to pay and he handed us the check flipped over with total due hand-written on the back. He entered his own tip thinking we would not realize. I am in full support of tipping, but not of the waiter deciding what they should be tipped. We brought it up to the manager and he removed the tip from the check, allowing us to choose what the tip would be. There was no sign in or outside indicating the transaction needed to be cash only, so we were going to pay with card. He picked up the check with the card and threw it back and said "it's cash only, there's a sign outside" with an attitude. We went to the ATM to make a withdrawal and asked him to break a 20. As soon as we asked him to break the 20, he said he was able to charge our card instead. I refused as nothing that came out of the man's mouth could be trusted after two unpleasant encounters. He broke the 20, and we left the payment on the table and left the restaurant. Two minutes later, he comes outside yelling and cursing at us, accusing us of not paying. Super disrespectful and unprofessional! We will not be coming back again.
Great find when in town from Cleveland, Ohio, before our cruise! Lightning fast service, hot fresh food! Great atmosphere, friendly staff! Reasonable priced. Highly recommend!! Will stop back when in town again!Food: 5/5
Food is always good, been going here since my brother moved to Miami. Staff is all amazing! Handled all of us after my niece passed away and even honored her on their signs. Can't begin to thank them enough!!! Kid-friendliness: Always welcomes the young kidsand makes them feel special! Parking: Parking in front and back of restaurant
I have visited Duffy's Tavern many times, as I have lived in the neighborhood for about 40 years. When I sat and waited patiently today in the patio area, the first thing coming out of the server's mouth was asking is my dog was a service dog. Holding on to the utencils and menu as if he was holding them for ransom upon my answer. First off, that is not a question you legally ask. Second, a good afternoon should have been his first words. I got up and left. Sadly, the service has declined at Duffy's for some years now as has the food. Supporting local is important to me and that is one of the reasons I stopped at Duffy's. Service and courtesy at any business is free and expected, as are first impressions. By the way, yes, my dog is a service dog.
