Fantastic neighborhood favorite. Cozy and welcoming. The staff was very helpful and friendly; Peter and Mara behind the bar helped me pick a fantastic local-favorite dinner dish, the steak tips (which did come out medium rare as ordered) with both Cajun spice and peanut satay sauces on the side - both awesome. Had the garlic mashed potatoes and eggplant fries (!) which were great. Never seen eggplant fries before, but as a first-time customer they automagically gave me a sampler(!), and they were great. Noticed locals walking in and addressing the bartenders by name - points! Talked to these locals and realized this is a neighborhood gem. Great beer selection with enough local beers that my California beer-snob glass never got out of New England. Bread pudding for dessert was sublime. Do this. Great place. Go, eat, drink, enjoy.

Doesn't get much better than this. I always have a great meal, they have a good beer selection, and the service is among the best I've ever had. That's why I keep going back. It will be a sad day when I no longer live around the corner from this place.

This has got to be one of my favorite places to go for a comforting meal. I have been several times and the truly excellent food and service will continue to draw me back in the future. I highly recommend stopping by. The menu is interesting and accommodating, and everything I have had the pleasure to try there has left a great impression.

If you're in Needham, this is a great place to grab a bite. Great decor and atmosphere. Service is solid too. Now onto the food. Eggplant fries are a must have - signature. The burgers are really good as well. I really liked "the fancy pants". Carmelized onions and fried Brie on top of a beef patty. Scrumptious.
