Duxler Complete Auto Care has spent the last 90 years delivering extensive auto repairs to satisfied customers throughout the northern suburbs of Chicago, IL. We focus on building strong customer relationships and providing the highest quality of workmanship on each and every automotive repair.
Founded by the Duxler family in 1926, Duxler Complete Auto Care has been owned and operated by the Moak family since 1982. Duxler Complete Auto Care is a leader on the North Shore when it comes to quality auto care. We are certified by Bosch Automotive and as a Tech-Net Professional Auto Service Center.

Duxler is ALWAYS above average on customer service, reliability, and honesty. Not only is the owner, Brian, concerned about you receiving good service, but he cares if your vehicle is safe. The service advisors, especially Craig and Scott, are friendly and easy to talk to. They understand that sometimes money is an issue and don't act snobby or talk down to you if you don't jump on board with every repair right away. They are honest about what can wait and what needs immediate attention. I can't say enough good things about the three years of excellent service I have received here. Now, I bring my new car and my reserve car whenever they need anything. Hurray Duxler!

Back in February I had to get my car towed because the battery died and got it towed to Duxler (because it was a recommendation). So they told me they put in a brand new battery and sent me on my way. Two weeks later the alternator failed (which they didn't tell me about). They were nice enough to recharge the "brand new battery" and I decided to get it towed out by my parents and the alternator was fixed at a different mechanic. Then a couple weeks ago the battery died...again. Took it in to a place and they told us the battery is completely drained and it's done. My family and I asked why, there was a brand new battery put in in February and he said no that the battery is from 2013 and showed us the date on it. Are you serious?!!? We paid $200 for Duxler to put in a battery that was already four years old but told us was brand new. I didn't even think to check to see the date on the battery because I didn't know I was going to get ripped off. Don't take their word on anything.

Have been going to Duxler for years. My wife dropped my car off and then Duxler called us and said we needed new brake pads and we told them I would wait this time because the car only had 20,000 miles. We took it to the dealer and they said the brakes were fine! Now it dawned on us hat they have been doing this to me for years with many of our newer cars. We trusted them and they've been ripping us off all of these years. Their Skokie location closed and I don't know why the others are still open.

Owner got involved with the way that Duxler sells its cabin air filter replacement. They now separate charges for cowl cleaning and cabin air replacement. I appreciate this effort and transparency.

I have always been taken care of quickly, pleasantly, and given a company car if the work will be long. I have been a customer for many years and they look at the records and know what they have done in the past.
