I ordered a beautiful Younger Furniture loveseat from Charles at Dwelling and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I loved the store, Charly was so helpful and responsive to every phone call and email, and the delivery time was exactly as estimated. The men who brought my loveseat up the stairs were so friendly and careful! It was my first time buying a brand new, high-end piece of furniture and Dwelling made the experience very pleasant. I am so happy!

Great place to get an idea of your own interior design. They have great deals on the second floor and even in the back where they keep the lights turned off. 4 stars only because it's so expensive, but you get what you pay for here this stuff is extremely comfortable and we'll made.

Cool place with local artists and furniture. Reasonable prices given the handmade nature of much of the stock.

Surprising that a high-end furniture store has made its home on Main Street. The pieces are good quality, if expensive, and the store is massive. I wandered around and just kept finding room after room of cool furniture. They also have an upstairs area with their used (read: discounted) furniture. Although I didn't buy anything, I got a lot of good ideas for my home, and the employees were friendly that I would definitely come back if I was in the market for a statement piece.

I had purchased a bedroom set from Dwelling (known as Somnia) back in 2007 and had a very positive experience - from initial browsing to the final delivery. I still have the furniture and it's held up very well. So, when I needed guest room furniture I went back. The select was great although after all the shopping I did, the prices were a bit steep. Still, I wanted to give them credit after a great first purchase. Here are the bullet points from this second experience: SHOPPING: I concur with other reviews that staff "seemed annoyed at our indecisiveness". I'm dropping a lot of money and if the store isn't closing, let me sit there and think about it. The employees seem to only be worried about making commission. They initially guided me to a few options. I asked to have some time to think about it. It can be tough to picture it in the space and just wanted some time. The woman would walk away and then come right back 3 minutes later - she just couldn't leave me alone. Her annoying behavior almost made me walk out. It happened repeatedly, even asking for a little time to think about my purchase. I guess they are taught to wear customers down at all costs. ---2 STARS PURCHASE: I ultimately decided to purchase that day (Memorial Day weekend). They make all sales final, which is NOT typical for furniture stores (somewhat shady). They made it clear that the furniture would take 8-10 weeks to get delivered. The time frame is horrible and something that they really need to work on - especially considering the furniture is not custom hand made but rather imported from overseas. The custom furniture store down the street has better lead times on furniture. I wasn't in a rush for the furniture so I signed the paperwork, paid the 50% deposit, and was on my way. ---4 STARS DELIVERY: About a week before Labor Day I got the news that my furniture was in and ready for delivery... well, everything except one night stand. Apparently, that piece missed the boat and would arrive 3-4 weeks later. They still wanted to make a delivery and after I confirmed that they wouldn't charge a second delivery fee, I agreed. We scheduled, confirmed a window, and when the day came, the delivery was on time. The two delivery guys were GREAT! They were friendly, respectful, and thorough in the delivery and setup. I offered them bottled water and sent them on their way with a tip. ---5 STARS FOLLOW-UP/SERVICE: At the time of delivery, I was careful to watch the process and inspect all pieces for damage. While the delivery guys were setting up the bed, I found that the footboard was damaged. I pointed it out to them and proceeded to take photos of the damage. I immediately called Dwelling to politely and calmly report my findings. The gentleman that assisted me was extremely friendly and seemed genuinely concerned about getting it fixed. He gave me his email and I followed-up by emailing him the photos. He was in touch with me in less than 4 hours with a solution to replace the footboard with an alternate that was in the warehouse. The store immediately setup a new delivery date to replace the damaged footboard. Again, the same delivery guys showed up on time and quickly replaced the damaged piece. ---5 STARS
