Huge mixed use park with great trails. Trails are well marked and maintained. There are plenty of port-o-potties and trash cans around the park, which is always a nice touch. Great place to get some exercise.

Lived in Indy for most of my life, but never made it to this side of town. This is a worthy gem of Indianapolis. The ornithology center is amazing. The trails are well maintained. And there are geocaches!

Nice walking trails, decent areas to picnic, and good place for kayaking. You have to pay extra per watercraft you bring in and the kayak launch site at marina is a little steep and narrow. Nature center is neat - near by, there is another launch site and a few picnic tables with a good view of lake. The "beach" looks dirty and actual swimming area is very small. I was very surprised to find out it cost an additional $6 to get in there.

My daughter went there this past weekend for go ape zip line. She really had fun. The only thing I would say is they need to have larger signs so that you can see where you need to go. Also, if you're dropping someone off, they need to come up with the system where you don't have to pay $5 just to drop that person off.

Lake view picnic area needs attention. Old benches and nasty attracting bees. Other than that, nice park to spend time with family. Water activities are cool.
