It’s funny because right as I was telling my friend, “You know what, I think this salad actually is worth 12$, it’s really good!” I looked down and saw a ladybug on my forkful and it didn’t just fly in, it was dead and coated in dressing. Other than the unwanted guest, which I guess is always a risk with produce, the salad was really good and everything was fresh. I would have been a repeat customer otherwise but the ladybug was too much for me. If you like good salads with.. “extra protein,” this is the place for you.
Have been a customer for several months. Staff is often unprofessional and ingredient quality if lacking. They don't seem to care about slimy lettuce, brown avocados, and the hearts of lettuce ending up in your salad. You also get a free heel of bread jammed on top of your salad. Cleanliness not their strong suit, and prices are on the high side. There are much better options nearby.
Decent quality salads overall but horrific customer service. Staff is generally short with people and not overly friendly... which was tolerable for awhile. However the last time I went, I was charged incorrectly they added the next person's drink to my order and swiped my card before telling me my total. I mentioned it and the cashier literally yelled at me and then turned to the manager and yelled additional complaints about me to him. Last but not least they couldn't even fix the issue seemed like it should be an easy fix..... I emailed the address from their website about this experience and no one even replied! I guess they don't care about customer service. This place does not know how to treat its customers at all. People should be treated with respect and not yelled at, especially when they've done nothing wrong. I will never go back.
I'm always on the hunt for a healthy, quick lunch spot downtown during the work week. What's not to like about a place where I can build a healthy salad with all the fun tasty fixin's?! Plus this a great spot to support local ,as Earth works with local communities, farmers and sustainable partners! All around a lunch spot to feel good about. I have enjoyed the Bovine Bleu salad and the Southwest Turkey all the ingredients were fresh & tasty, the meat was cooked well & flavorful. Also tried the Wok This Way Pad Thai rice bowl with shrimp. The flavor was nice and light, almost refreshing - not the in your face kind of curry which is actually great for lunchtime in my opinion. Definitely would recommend for lunch time healthy eats, not a long wait like similar spots are downtown.
Stopped in for the first time for a quick salad to go and had the worst steak salad ever. The dressing was supposed to be avocado ranch, but it was some sort of horrible vinaigrette. The sweet potato and Yukon golds were not fully cooked and the steak was cooked way beyond the point of well, but was strangely not burnt. The unsmiling cashier asked if I’d like bread and then jammed a hunk right on top of my fully dressed salad. This place definitely wins for worst steak salad in Pittsburgh. And they charge $13 bucks for it!
Their food is of poor quality: the avocado is very raw and contains the hard shell part, the broccoli has been tossed to tiny little pieces, the romaine lettuce and boiled egg was okay. Definitely not worth the 4.3 though. Poor food with a relatively high price.
Love the food. Everything is always fresh, and the staff is really helpful. The price isnt bad for the amount you get. The salads are bigger than you think and very filling. You can build your own or pick one of their custom creations You can alter them, too. Their custom creations are all delicious. Will continue coming here in the future.
Very friendly staff with great healthy options. The juice was pricey but fresh. The salad creations can't be beat. Very filling and nourishing. I went in 20 minutes to closing and they were great at helping me out.
I absolutely love this place the food is exceptional. Me and my colleagues visit quite often, but the staff has turned us off. I pass the store every morning on my way to work, I see the one employee standing outside almost daily with a gentleman i don't believe is an employee, while they both smoke right in front or even on the side of the building just cussing up a storm, just real loud using all types of expletives. She has also not been the most friendly a couple times weve been here. I believe personally this is not how an employee should represent a business. So the days shes working I think well try somewhere else.
Tried this place for the first time to get a healthy option! The salad was delicious and priced fairly reasonable! I love that they ask if you want the salad lightly dressed! Will definitely return!
