I had a wonderful experience with this office. I waited 2-3 weeks for an initial appointment but it was well worth it. Dr Ed was very patient and kind. He explained everything in the appointment, step by step and in terms I could understand. Dr Ed also took the time to listen to my concerns. I never felt rushed. He took exceptional care of me and my eyes. My eyes have found a home.

Best eye place I have been in over 10 years in the Bay Area. Especially recommend if you are 50+, and need to be treated with compassion and extra care we deserve.  Super competent docs and super cordial supporting staff.  I was made to believe I had glaucoma at Lens Crafters, then at Dr Tanaka's office in Oakland.  It was an error in how they applied the Visual Field test. They repeated the test several times  (15-20 mins at a time) and said I kept failing.

East Bay Eye Center of Dr Severin's (my doctor was Dr. Werner, a super competent and experienced gentleman) discovered right away that I was too near sighted to take the test with bare eyes. With lenses on, I passed with flying colors. Thanks to the East Bay Eye Center in San Ramon, I now know I don't have glaucoma after 2 yrs of believing otherwise...

Receptionit Mayele (sp?) was so helpful & got me in with Dr. Werner.
The good doctor was very professional & did a complete exam.  He also explained his findings. 
I would highly recommend the doctor & practice for opthamology services.

my experience at East Bay Eye Center is always wonderful.  the staff
is very helpful and professional.  Dr. Severin is detailed in his exams and really cares about his patients.

Very pleasant staff, nice office environment and Dr. Todd is wonderful. He listens carefully to you and answers all your questions, Recommend!
