At the East Bay Vivarium, we specialize in the captive production of a wide selection of reptiles, amphibians, and arachnids. Our store supplies zoos, educational institutions and classrooms as well as individuals and families with reptile pets.

Love this place!!! Amazing staff!!! Very friendly and knowledgeable customer service!!! Huge selection of animals to add to your family if you choose to do so 😁 or just stop by and learn something new 😉 love stopping by here on my way home from work I always find something interesting to look at and maybe take home with me if the money is available 🤣🤣🤣

Basically the coolest place ever! Love the 10% teacher discount, and they helped me get all set up with a classroom snake. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Even if you're not buying, it is so fun to wander around and look at the different amazing creatures. Take a weekend trip here, you won't regret it!

Super trusted place. I only buy my snakes' food here. Adopted snakes here 10 years ago and they are healthy and I'm happy. Also great place to learn about herps in general and see a variety. Staff knows their stuff.

Our weekly trip to the vivarium is always fun. We love looking at all of the various critters they have while we get the food for our own. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous, and will always make sure your needs (and, more importantly, the needs of your animals) are met. We are especially thankful for the East Bay Vivarium because they have rabbits available (and sometimes large chickens), which is what we need to feed our retic. My only real complaints about the place is that it's located in Berkeley, and the parking is kind of a pain. But those factors are more of personal opinion than anything else, and they are pretty minimal. Would still recommend it to anybody with an interest in reptiles and amphibians!
