I have a German Shep/beagle mix that is 13-years old.  She is gorgeous but undeniably, one of the hairiest creatures ever put on this earth.  She also has skin sensitivities so I always have to re-iterate that she needs no fragrance and only hypo-allergenic shampoo.  Even then most places will return Moxie looking and feeling worse that when she is dropped off.  

Thankfully, Anna at Petco Grooming did amazing!  Moxie looks 5 years younger and has a beautiful, shiny coat that isn't shedding like crazy!  She's as soft as a bunny! You've won me over, Petco and Anna!  Thank you so much!!!

They are not up front about their fees. Twice I had over charges for things like matted fun, and my dog being over ten years of age.  Removing matted hair is the point of grooming. What difference does her age have to do with cutting her hair?

What an amazing staff! Autumn T in the grooming department took such great care of my dog, I will probably request her now every time we come in. I ended up having to leave my dog a little longer than expected, and they took such amazing care of her! I even was presented with a little bag of treats and a note on my receipt saying she had been the "star dog of the day".
