Took my wife to see Peter Rabbit tonight.  It was an awesome movie, very well done.  The East Towne Cinema is a family oriented business and everyone is very friendly.

Cheap tickets and fresh popcorn. Just a quaint hometown theater with the latest movies. Wonderful, sweet owners.

We've attended the theater, only one in town, but the screens are stained (quite a while) which is distracting while watching the film.   Sound is a bit buzzy with at least one bad speaker.  Theater is pretty worn and the lobby is scruffy.  I can accept old, but even old things can be maintained.

Worst problem: When and what film shows is VERY HARD TO GUESS unless you drive by and ask.  The phone doesn't list the times unless they happen to answer it, and they don't keep schedules in the local paper.  They do have an official website which is often wrong, and their current fad is to update their FaceBook page only and at the last minute.

Went to see a film today at 3:30 that was scheduled to start at 4.  They had already started it.  Considering the parking lot was empty, I can only imagine a maximum of five people in each film.  I'll probably see the film in another city, as the experience will be worth the admission.  A new chain theater is scheduled for Ellijay in the future.  I look forward to that construction, as competition builds better customer service or drives poor businessmen out of business.

Tiny theater with a nice atmosphere and friendly enough people. Price isn't bad.
