Crystal was our friendly, attentive server. Although the breakfast buffet looked tempting, we opted to order from the menu. Breakfast burritos were tasty as was the eggs and bacon. Good coffee too. Our first time at an Eat 'N Park. We'll be back.

Eat n Park is that dim and cozy little restaurant that has a warm and nostalgic atmosphere like nowhere else. It possesses a rich history and it’s one of the most well-known inexpensive 24/7 diners in America. I’ve been going here since birth and some of the establishments give me pleasant memories, or warm and comfortable feelings. It typically has on par quality food. It’s no sophisticated cuisine-maker but if you have little cash on you and you’re hungry for a warm comfort food in the fall when it’s chilly, it’s a place to stop by during the night, or any time of day for that matter, since I’ve gotten breakfasts and lunch sandwiches there too. Another way to describe it is the next step up from fast food. One step down from Applebee’s. Nice carpeting. Nice overall aesthetics. It’s October so they specialize in apple and pumpkin desserts, and autumn is my favorite time of the year so it’s quite refreshing. I visited with my parents from 6-7PM for a meal. We had a young waitress about my age, Brylee I think her name was. Blonde girl, give her my regards. She only worked there for three days! You could tell she had the jitters but she made us very happy. Having said that, I have some grim feedback coming up. While Eat n Park has always had adequate and satisfactory dishes, my family and I have noticed some displeasing correlations in restaurants. Quality has DROPPED and cheapness has RISEN. The food was simply one step up from the food at my middle school cafeteria (I’m about to graduate from highschool so this is just from memory). Almost equal with a bit of pizzazz. What’d I get? I got the Mac and cheese bites for an appetizer. Very nice idea. Love everything about the concept and it was phenomenal. Nice and cheesy with a beautifully greasy fried coating but not too greasy or fried. Buffalo sauce provided. For a main course I got the baked ziti. The waitress even brought me out a roll and small pastry treat in advance which I didn’t know came with it. And BTW, every time she brought out food, she looked you in the eye and smiled. As if she was so happy to watch you receive your food. Hehe. BUT, the baked ziti doesn’t really look like the menu. In fact nothing does. It looked somewhat good. The cheese and red sauce were sort of appetizing and the cut sausages were nice. But the noodles are plastic and rubbery!!! And the red sauce was less saucy and more WATERY! Hehe. I got a side of chili too which was also very watery. I’ll provide pictures. The Pepsi was also VERY watery! I don’t know if Eat n Park is to blame but it the soda just wasn’t on par. Hehe, sorry. The butter is so hard and unsmearable. My parents got some kind of steak sandwiches... pork sandwiches maybe? It was the exact same thing as, like I said, my middle school cafeteria. Very dry and I unflavorful meat. The cheese, shredded from the salad bar or melted from the kitchen is not, eh, good. The bread could use some more flavoring and texture work. Last but not least, I got the Dutch caramel apple pie a la mode. I was expecting warm pie with a perfect blend of cool ice cream but the whole dish was kinda cold. Good, but cold. And the coffee I got with it, eh, it was do-able. The pink packaged sugar is known for its cancer-causing-ness but... agh, I don’t wanna be “that guy”. Look, the restaurant and staff are beautiful. The concept and existence is properly cherished. And credit should be given where due. The meal was adequate. I ate it all and was full when I left. I wasn’t UNhappy. Just a fair warning. I wish I could provide constructive criticism but I’m no food critic, so all I’ll say is Eat n Park, please get your priorities straight! Or at least improve! So thank you Brylee and thanks Eat n Park. I’ll continue to visit twice a month as I always have done. And P.S., I never liked the smiley face cookies because they’re kinda dry and flavorless. I haven’t had any in years but for all the children, know that while it’s a nice and kind gesture/souvenir, it’s no dessert. 🍽

Waitresses are always nice and the food ordered off the menu is decent. However, the salad bar at this location has been degrading. Particularly consistently finding "chopped" lettuce the size of my hand.

Good ol classic. Never eaten anything but breakfast and grilled stickies.
