10/10 best venue I've been to. Went on New Years Eve. A lot of reviews on here had me nervous, but I went in with an open mind and was surprised to find a friendly crowd, respectful (but firm) staff, and awesome production quality. Water wasn't free, maybe because of NYE craziness, but I've seen worse. ALSO, BRING CASH IF YOU PLAN TO CHECK YOUR COAT. It's $5 each at time of writing. I had to dance in a parka because of this oversight. :(

BEWARE of this club if your trying to have a nice night ! Deserves 0 stars 
Security disrespected / borderline assulated me with a gate , on the way in for no valid reason, really killed it for me  , made the "mistake" of bringing my LED hoop *been dancing for 7 years *

DC’s best indoor venue by far. Cutting edge light production and great sound. Excellent staff. Always exceptional service from Ben, Jovan, Joe, Kenyon, Vahid, Honey, Olivia, and so many others. Last weekend in particular, Nick did a killer job keeping the individuals at my table safe along with about 10 other tables at the same time. It was as if we had our own personal body guard. Keep up the hustle Echostage, I’ll see you guys next time!

Echostage is not a bad place by any means, but it is an extremely poorly placed concert venue. There is almost no parking, and where there is, it is the shadiest looking parking of all time. When we arrived the line was three blocks long and the doors had already been opened. However, once you get into the venue, you will have a good time. The staff was very friendly and genuinely wanted you to be safe. I would absolutely adore Echostage if it was placed in a different location.

As a first time patron I got harassed by the staff on the way in. The bouncer bent my ID in half to the point it left a crease just to see if it was a fake. I should have just passed him my military ID because the dude treated me like a dirt bag. Scumbag security guard ruined my vibe going in and killed my experience. Wouldn't recommend or return.
