I have been to the EcoCafe many times over the years. It’s such a rustic little cafe with chairs upholstered from vintage coffee sacks and other memorabilia. So a nice atmosphere, but the coffee is also top notch. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It’s around $10 for an americano and a latte. The latte was not only robust and creamy, it was also presented beautifully. I highly recommend stopping anytime you’re in the village of St. Jacobs.
We came to St Jacobs for a stroll on a Saturday and ended up in the EcoCafe, a lovely cozy spot at the end of the village. Best matcha latte we’ve had, tasty samosas, super friendly staff and a free doggie treat for Maple. We all loved it!
This place is popular and busy! -big variety of specialty drinks!!! Super fun and the menu seems to change regularly. -big variety of foods as well I ordered the st Jacob’s sunrise. Asked for blended but got over ice which is fine, it was busy so I don’t blame them. Drink tasted really good and refreshing, but I just know if it was blended it would’ve been 10x better haha. Also ordered the beef empanadas with mayo it was really tasty. Came out nice and warm too. Space is a little tight inside but the food and drinks are well worth it.
Friendly service, dog friendly, and boasts plants with names! I had a delicious coffee and sandwich, but everything here looks good, I can't wait to come back.Parking spacePlenty of parkingParking optionsFree parking lot
We visited the Cafe Satuday 17th Feb 2024, at 5.15p.m ,very disappointed with the level of service. I would not expect to come to a cafe and dine in with paper cups.l, even after I mentioned dine-in. I asked if we could warm up the muffins, they informed the oven is switched off at 5 p.m, because they close at 6. I believe if you'll are open till 6, atleast I would expect some level of service. I have always been a enthusiast for Eco cafe, but this visit was dreadful, not sure we will be visiting the place again. The muffins were good, the coffee was not warm enough. If they are in a hurry to close up, they should re-visit the closing time at 5 then, and not at 6. Regards Dishan
The perfect hidden coffee haunt nestled in old St. Jacobs. The matcha latte is a favourite. Old calm vibes here. Sit for a while and enjoy.Food: 5/5
Nice Cozy Cafe for some coffee & muffins. We went in the evening and we like this cafe. It look old rusty and well decorated . Staff was nice and their muffins were yum. There is lot of parking across the street which was good to have. I recommend this cafe for sure if you are around St Jacob.
Lovely café with nice hot and cold beverages and an environment suitable for reading. The ambiance is pleasant with nice decorations and small things that have souls in every corner. As for the food and beverages, the mixed berry scone I got was moist and fresh with large berries inside and a unique texture- it was shiny and smooth more like a bagel on the outside, while on the inside it was flaky and tender like a scone should be. The hot London fog was aromatic and mildly sweet. Also, their raspberry iced tea was quite refreshing and tasty. Although there was only one staff member in the front, the service was quite fast and wait times weren't more than 5 minutes in the busiest times during my visit. I also loved that they support local businesses like Eby Manor or Four All ice cream. I will definitely be back to this beautiful café. Highly recommend! Parking: A few parking spots in front of the café, including a wheelchair-accessible one.
We stopped at EcoCoffee on a visit to St.Jacobs. so glad we did. The coffee was superb . So good that I left with a fresh bag of The Poets Blend. The atmosphere was great and cozy with a rustic look and wonderful notes of coffee bean scents. The staff working yesterday really made our experience grand. Such lovely ladies!Service: 5/5
Baked goods are always fresh. Their coffee drinks are also yummy. They have milk alternatives as well. I always bring my dog inside because they are dog friendly, which is always a bonus. Cute little cafe in the heart of St. Jacobs village.Food: 5/5
