I recently stayed at the Econo Lodge in Troy. The rates are outstanding: clean, warm room with a mini-frig. The beds are comfortable, and the staff very friendly when I needed directions around Troy. All this, and, the FREE breakfast.

My family and I loved staying here. Very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Staff are kind and respectful. Location is very convenient. Price is highly affordable. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is disgusting. Mold in the showers, used soap still in the shower, big piles of hair everywhere, the door didn't shut right, overall just dirty. Ended up leaving the hotel it was so bad!

We had the room for 2 nights, after the first night there was a guy hanging around the next morning asking for money. It was non smoking but the smell of cigarettes was inside the room. Then the last night we were there it sounded like they were having a party in the room next door from our room. My wife and I didn't get to sleep until after midnight because of the noise. This hotel is not family friendly.

This location had friendly and helpful staff. The room was of decent quality, though the only bad part was that the carpet was dirty, I do not mean it wasn't vacuumed as it was, the carpets just need to be steam cleaned. The continental breakfast was what you would expect with the addition of a pretty neat waffle making machine setup. The WiFi in this place was fantastic however.. with several kids streaming music and video it didn't even hitch, and that was with the hotel sold out with guests. Overall it was a good experience.

Typical low cost hotel. Nothing great, but the price is right.
