Traveling with my 85 year old blind father during the hurricane. Due to evacuation. I had to stay in a room after driving 18 hrs straight. My nephew called for us. We arrived 45 min later. No longer had a non-smoking room only smoking it was the most disgusting smell I've ever had to deal with. My father was so tired he collapsed on the bed and said he would just have to smell it. I went to the front desk they gave me some sort of air freshener. I turn the lights off and try to sleep it was so bad I couldn't when I turn the lights back on roaches were crawling up the walls. Again management could do nothing about it. I could not get my father to wake up to leave and he didn't want me driving anymore as there was no rooms anywhere else so instead I stayed up the rest of the night until daylight hitting roaches that were crawling on the floor and walls.noticed food all under vanity area. Place must have never been vacumned! I spent the next 2 hours of my waiting on the manager to call me back as the girl at the desk said she had text him she was not able to do any type of refund for this situation when I opened curtain for dad to shower there was mold all over the ceilings in the bathroom. So no shower for us! Sadly as I was telling clerk about it the maintenance guy was standing behind her and said "oh yeah I hadn't got to that room yet that was one of the ones I have not finished painting' they charged over $100 for this room a part of that was an added on fee for my Registered Emotional Support Dog. Later after going to eat I was told that the management or owner called the desk and was only given permission to give me a 10% discount. My opinion is this place should be shut down and renovated it is the most disgusting place I have ever been in I'm still waiting for a call back from the owner of course have never gotten one. I have videos and pictures of roaches crawling all over the room was most disgusting experience I've ever had in my life I will never ever visit and Econo Lodge again and I wouldn't recommend this to an animal to stay in. They should be prosecuted for taking people's money!

The location is great, lots of stuff nearby. Front desk person was nice enough. The room was dirty. There was beard hair in the sink and towels and the shower was not clean. The sheets had a big black streak across the bottoms of it.

Manager Siracq was great and understanding. We were running from hurricane and he was a GODSEND. Thank you Econo Lodge. You are the best. Hotel was clean. Staff was nice. Breakfast was beyond expected.

Nice clean place. Management is real polite. Breakfast is better then most. Washer and dryer leave alot to be desired

This is the most disgusting hotel I have seen. I checked in with my family after a long day of travel. The room smelled like musty old cigarettes. There was pet hair and dust everywhere. The sheets and bedding had hair all over it. The carpet was so dirty that my daughter's white socks turned brown. We were in the room all of 15 minutes and decided to drive to Daytona and stay at a Residence Inn. I went downstairs to the clerk and told her how bad the room was. I asked for a refund that I still have not received. I am still disputing the charge with my credit card company. The manager of the hotel will not return my emails or calls. Bottom line is unless your are desperate, avoid this hotel.
