Desk staff was friendly and attentive during a late arrival. 
However, as soon as me and my friend got in the beds we got itchy. Immediately got itchy therefore feared bedbugs, now have determined no bedbugs... so that was good but there was literally straw/hay and visible dirt under the covers. I'm not sure how this could have existed had the sheets been cleaned. 
Again, no bedbugs, and it gives me a funny story to tell about a hotel. The niceness of the guy at the desk makes me want to bump it up to 2 stars but alas the only thing I really care about in a hotel/motel is cleanliness and dried grass and dirt under sheets is pretty bad.

Kind and accommodating front desk made us feel welcome and even bumped up the breakfast time so the group could eat before an early checkout. Met with a strange smell in the hallway and another in the room. The water in the sink ran with some brown colouration. Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning kept the heat off expertly. A short and adequate stay.

Grest service. Located near the city's largest mall. Basic and generic hotel. It is a little out of date and the linens/towels leave a lot to be desired. But all in all not a bad place to stay on the cheap.

Management was extremely welcoming and pleasant. Clean room and a comfortable enough bed. Good experience overall
