Great for a place to stay while working in town. Good value.

Needed a place to stay last minute. Got there, got our room key, and immediately started searching for another hotel (would highly recommend Travelers Inn). There was a towel on the window sill TO COVER MOLD. When we asked the man at the desk for another room that was mold free, he disclosed to us that all of their rooms had the same problem but that it was okay because they changed the towels every day, aka SOMEONE CALL AN INSPECTOR. 😨

Hillside Inn has provided me with exactly what I needed during my weeks working in Pembroke. Nothing too fancy by any means, but is clean (and cleaned frequently) and has adequate space. There are the usual appliances (Microwave, television, mini fridge, A/C) but not much else. Would recommend to other out of town workers, but ideally wouldn't settle here otherwise.

We were pleasantly surprised. The area is lovely, the room is  clean, has a microwave and mini frig. Great value for our dollar. I will definitely come back.
