Edgar’s Grille offers warm, elegant dining in a relaxed atmosphere. This extraordinary restaurant is conveniently located and includes outdoor dining in the beautiful courtyard. Edgar’s Grille is open for lunch Monday through Friday, dinner Monday through Saturday, and features Augusta's best Sunday brunch buffet. Large parties and special events are comfortably accommodated at the adjacent Snelling Center.

A very modern atmosphere and super friendly chef's and waitstaff is what makes this one of my favorite places. The food is certainly outstanding however there are no "wow" moments on the menu which is why I am giving this 4 out of 5 stars. What I really like, however, is that this restaurant is an off-shoot of the Salvation Army and uses it kitchen to train the students at next door Helms College. This restaurant serves great food with a great atmosphere but more importantly, gives back to the community at the same time.

We've had some excellent food at this chef-centric locally focused restaurant. Nice ambiance and good wine list. The FOOD is generally creative and very flavorful. Our issue (is the same as many others have stated), the service is VERY inconsistent. We've had servers disappear for 10 minutes and now the last two times in a row, we had to make requests from a different server who was passing by. I admire this restaurant as they do lots of charitable work and training of new servers looking to get into the industry from different backgrounds. I support the restaurant and their mission in this area. Unfortunately, some of our individual servers have struggled to keep up. For a restaurant of this caliber, servers should also know something about the wine they serve. On 2 occasions, we got a red wine when ordering a white. That said, we've had both good and average service here--the key is for them to get consistent. We will return and we do enjoy the food. But, at Frog Hollow Tavern, you get flawless food and service, so I have to give Edgar's 4 stars instead of 5.

I liked this place, but it was a little pricey for me. I recommend going for lunch if you can just for the price difference. Dinner wise, I'd consider it a pretty nice place to take a date to as the atmosphere is very nice.

My husband and I always appreciate a good meal. The food was amazing. Healthy options which you don't find much. They buy local and fresh. Yes it's a bit pricey but for a healthy alternative mixed with a pleasant atmosphere, great softer music, terrific staff, well, we don't mind. For an amazing drink, try the Smores martini. Double yum! Couldn't go every week but would definitely go again! Joey, our server, was terrific. It was a wonderful night out.

We had the best experience tonight! Edgar’s grille is truly delicious and I would not hesitate to go back if we ever found ourselves in Augusta again. Matthew was our server and I’m not sure if he or the food was better. This restaurant is just on-point overall, both the service and food was incredible. We ordered the filet and salmon, both of which were cooked to absolute perfection! Best chimmichuri sauce I’ve had in my life. The Brussel sprouts and macaroni and cheese are also not to be missed! If you’re in Augusta for any reason, don’t miss the opportunity to eat at Edgar’s!
