We decided to go to MI Rancho to get dinner with the family. There was some form of karaoke thing going on outside, which seemed intimidatingly loud in the parking lot, but when we got inside the music was tempered to a more relaxing level. As we did pass by the karaoke in the outdoor area, they were announcing socials for the evening, including drink specials and $1 tacos. It was kind of nice hearing specials before we even walked in the door, got us thinking about what we wanted before we even got seated. We were seated quickly by their friendly staff. Their menu had a lot of variety, although I hate how some Mexican restaurants do their combination plates. They have about 20 different 'combinations' of tacos, burritos, enchiladas, tamals, rice, beans, etc, but finding the exact combination of items you want is cumbersome or simply non existent. Usually I can settle on one convocation pretty easily, but I feel it would be so much easier if you could just choose the two or three items you wanted and just be done with it. Even with that but of annoyance, the food wad great, the building was clean, and the staff was kind and helpful. I skyoe greatly recommend this place to anyone.

The food was delicious! I loved the queso, the salsa was nice and fresh, and my shrimp chimichanga was amazing! The margaritas are strong too.

Went about 1:30 on a Monday afternoon and the place was clean and quite. Had a nice lunch, but the food was a little bland and came out of the kitchen so quickly after we ordered that we were wondering if it was all pre-made. The server we had was very nice, but seemed in a hurry to get back to the bar to talk to the other servers.

Great hole-in-the-wall Mexi. Never too busy and the servers pour well. 👍
