Dedicated to the life and inventions of Thomas Alva Edison, the Edison Museum houses over 2000 artifacts that give a comprehensive story of America's greatest inventor.
Housed in the Travis Street substation, the Edison Museum is the only museum dedicated to Thomas Alva Edison west of the Mississippi. We tell the life story of Thomas Edison through interactive exhibits and displays that pack a lot of punch in a small space.
We offer guided tours for school groups (please call for details and scheduling). and semi-guided tours for any groups over 10 people (call for details).
