Awesome little museum! I didn't expect much. Was certainly surprised. I sure hope the flooding from hurricane Harvey doesn't do any damage. This is a jewel in the rough.

Loved this place! I visited two days in a row! Took a thousand pictures and learned a ton! Especially enjoyed the shell collection.

Come on out and see there display of not only Ms. Janis Joplin , but music hall of famers right out of the great state of Texas. There are many other exhibits relating to the Gulf Coast but of the surrounding area ! It's free to get in and if you would so like to give a donation, please feel free to do so. The museum funds itself on private donations I highly recommend stopping in and see'n the fine place they've got there. Enjoy!

Excellent experience with lots of local flavour. Charlie at reception is an institution and the speakeasy bar is rather special
