The location is on a hill with 1 way in off of Ramona. You have to pay for parking; pay twice if your case gets put on after lunch. At peak times, elevators are packed and u have to wait. Due to the nature of the place, you have to wait in large open areas with everyone else in front of your courtroom. It's very loud and the crowd is predominantly people having a bad day. No communication on what or when your case will be handled

This place thought me a lot. I could of leaving in the street but this court found me a home. This was back in the 90's. Thank you for the bottom of my heart. God bless the employees who works in this place.

This place is horrible I been trying to get my granddaughter out the system for years I even attended foster parent classes and received my certificate yet the court and the Social worker wouldn't even take that into consideration. I'm guessing cause the case is not mine's it's my daughter case but I do show up to see what's going on. She was ordered to do all these classes some she haven't finished yet in the mean time instead of having my grandbaby be raised by stranger's I am willing to take her in. Do to the lieing Social worker she refuse to recommend placing my grandbaby in my home because I had to go over her head several times to her supervisor and she didn't like that. My grandbaby has been gone for 3 yrs now she has missed out on so much she lost a great grandmother and a great great grandmother many holidays I just want to bring her home something really needs to be done about the way this system is ran. Court room 420 is joke and the Social worker at 8300 Vermont should not be a worker because off front she is already judging you without even getting to know you.i can't give up on my grandbaby I really would love to get her home while I'm still here. Open to suggestions I can't afford a lawyer and legal aid was no help

The judges that practice here don't bother opening up your case. They don't bother looking into what recommendations were sent in by your social worker or child's school and therapist. They make judgement calls based on crunching as many families in as they can. I'm not surprised with all the incidences that have been occurring with children dying while under a case with DCFS and the courts they work with. If you get a public defended by the name of Thomas Piccata, request a new one immediately! He will never return your calls or address any concerns.

Some could say, the only good thing about this place is the view. There's definitely mixed emotions, and it's difficult to judge if the means justify the ends. At the end of the day, I do believe righteousness prevails over evil.
