I would rate this business zero stars if I could. The service department kept my truck for FIVE WEEKS. This was an excessive delay and burdensome. I couldn't adequately handle my business with my car. I lost opportunities and money because of this.

El-Mor service tech's were supposed to fix the window regulator, blower switch resistor, evaporative emissions control system, and the air conditioner, as well as do state inspection and emissions.

Time went by, and I began to wonder what was taking so long. I contacted an employee, only to get "I don't know," and "I'll check into this."

They made the simple repairs; the blower resistor and window regulator, but when it came to the evap leak, they approached it from a "trial-and-error" mindset. They replaced a valve, and they drove it around a while, only to find that this did not correct the problem. Then, they replaced another valve, hoping to get it right. Next, they went for the easy fix. They replaced the fuel cap and erased the codes.

When it came to "fixing" the air conditioner, they merely recharged the AC with Freon (after I told them that I did this already, and it leaked out in a week.)

Needless to say, the AC was blowing nice and cold on the way home from their dealership, but soon thereafter I went on vacation, and did not drive the vehicle until I returned from vacation, only to find that the AC now only blows hot air.  

When i confronted an EL-Mor employee about my dissatisfaction, he replied "no one can predict when parts will fail on a 12 year old vehicle."
This leads me to the conclusion that they only care about new cars, where the maintenance is minor and easy, like changing oil and wiper blades, and doing what they can to ensure a customer will return to buy another vehicle from them. 

This dealership is a local representative of the General Motors Corporation. Maybe GM doesn't stand behind the long-term viability of its vehicles? My truck has less than 100k miles on it...

In conclusion, I was without my vehicle for 5 weeks, and now I am out of almost $1500.  All I have to show for that is a window regulator, blower switch resistor, new fuel cap, and stickers on the windshield.

Don't waste your time or money at this establishment. You will regret it. Since this business only has a few reviews, they are questionable... Probably posted by people friendly with the owners. 

If you wish to buy a new vehicle, make sure to do your internet research about pricing. The same El-Mor employee I dealt with about this issue  had previously lamented "the internet" for giving the public an informed basis for vehicle prices. He was upset that it was becoming more difficult for the dealership to make money because consumers know what fair prices are.

I called to inquire if El-Mor had any 2017 Equinox in the iridescent pearl color or in the midnight blue color (velvet blue? seemed really hard to find, as I had already contacted 2-3 other dealerships). I said that I did not want a red car. I stated that I also really wanted heated seats, that I was not looking for a sunroof/moonroof although if the vehicle had one, it would not be a deal-breaker. I wanted AWD and at least a 2.4L if not 3.6L engine. The man who spoke to me on the phone was dismissive and seemed to think that because he was speaking with a female who could not possibly know anything about anything. He told me that "Well, lady, there's a fully-loaded red one on our showroom floor that has just about anything anyone could possibly want." He clearly had not been listening. I went to a different dealership and bought my iridescent pearl 3.6L AWD Equinox from that location because the salesman listened to me. Maybe if El-Mor listened better, this sale could have gone to El-Mor.
