I don’t know what it is with El Pollo Loco!! For some reason, every time I go through the drive thru, they’re always skimping on the quantity & quality of the food I order…. As you can see on my receipt, I ordered the double chicken tostada… barely any chicken on there, the avocado is old mushy & brown, I asked for two avocados salsas and the girl said, “there’s already 2 of them in your bag and that should be enough” what in the world?!?! And look at how much cheese they put on the tostada….they know that whoever goes through their drive-thru doesn’t have the time to go back in the restaurant to tell them anything about it because they’re either in a rush to get back to work fast and they don’t have the time to complain about it…El Pollo Loco, YOU CAN DO BETTER AND PLEASE DO BETTER!!! This was not worth the money.
Placed a curbside pick-up order through the app ahead of time for 10am as according to your provided hrs. of operation online, you open at 9:30am. After arriving & waiting, a kind employee approached my vehicle to let me know that the location actually opens at 11am. He apologized on your behalf as you haven’t updated your details online. I really shouldn’t have been able to place the order online, through the app. Something as simple as updating your hrs., would save many the same inconvenience as I, those confused people in the photo, & others have experienced. The same would apply to your employees who I’m sure are not enjoying having to deal with customers that are upset with your lack of responsibility. The kind young lady assisting with drive-thru orders, also sincerely apologized. Please get it together & make the necessary updates.
The staff was not personable and very short. I know it's rare now a days but I tried to ask for a receipt but never got it. They were super busy so let's use that reason. Never got the chicken nachos before, figured I try them. Not too sure I will order them again. Grateful my chicken was hot but damn. Hot enough to melt my container. Chicken was delicious, can't really mess that up.
Thought we would enjoy an early afternoon lunch with the meal for two coupon. To our surprise the chicken was dark brown dry chewy like leather with the meat embedded in the skin you couldn't pull it apart. It was like it was leftover from the night before. How can they give us leftover chicken? It was disgusting.
The people who work here are doing their best and are kind. It's slow because people need to go back to work. Overall, even though the service was slow, I will go back because the food is good and customer service is very good.
On the evening of 7/21/22I ordered curbside pickup my order was supposed to be ready and complete at 8:54 p.m. I arrived at 9:00 p.m. and hit the I'm here button on the app. After 10 minutes of waiting I called and again said I was there and had been waiting 10 or more minutes and my food had not been brought out. The woman who answered said she was too busy and to go through the drive through. I informed her that if I wanted that option I would have done so.and I expected and demanded curbside She then informed me it would be another 5 minutes or more. I said my food was supposed to be ready and complete at 8:54 and the order had to be remade as I did NOT want cold food. I finally got my food at 9:30 p.m. if you are too busy for curbside you should not offer that option and when people arrive for their orders they should not have to wait over half hour after it was promised. That is totally unacceptable
BEWARE ORDERING ONLINE * it's been a week I talked to multiple representatives, they've apologized, but I still have not received any refund on the matter at this point I'm starting to wonder if I should just count it as stolen this is insane. Customer service is ineffective and rude. *update- in response to the response below, I did make a request, and its been three days with no reply. This is ridiculous. Make sure the location is open before ordering!! I put an online order in today and just came to the location only to find out that they were closed. I don't understand why the website wouldnt have updated with that information. It had no problem taking my payment information and I wasted gas and time on my lunch for no purpose. I expect a full refund immediately.
I spent like 45 min here. From like 7pm to 7:42 And the sauces were setting on the counter the hall time. . I odered my food they were setting there i got my food and they were setting then then i put it together and realised that the sauces were setting there. After i ate like 4 green sauces and pico . the chicken was good so i could not come plan much but still it grossed me out . it keeps getting worse every time i go :' .
Placed a curbside pick up 20 min before arriving at restaurant so it would be ready only to wait another 30 min in the drive thru because apparently this restaurant doesn't respect the signs everywhere around the restaurant saying to order in the app for curbside pick up stupid whats the point of ordering in the app and paying just to wait in the line for longer
Went inside several workers seen us walk in and they completely ignored us. They went to the back and just left us standing there. Thats so rude. When someone did finally come talk to us they said they are only taking drive thru customers yet there were people eating inside. I won't be returning to this location
