Will not return to this location. This is the second time I have found chicken in my salad after ordering it without. The first time I found it before I ate, but this time I wasn’t so lucky. Found tiny little pieces of chicken as I was nearing the end of my salad. Not sure if it’s laziness, negligence, or what but I will not be spending my money here anymore.
Fresh healthy food, friendly staff, quick service. Ordered 8 mixed piece family meal with broccoli and rice for the sides. The meal was ready within 5 minutes. Fresh sauce counter was also very clean and well-maintained.
I would never eat here again. And if I was you I wouldn’t either. I was in line I order a tostada salad. I was behind a car waiting while they paid for their food. There was a dog sticking outside the driver window and the worker was petting the dog multiple times. I was watching through the side window where you can see the register to see if maybe she will wash her hand. She then grabs a cup and the ice spoon and got the customer a drink without washing her hands still. VERY UNSANITIZED . Then when I pulled up to the window she went to the food area she than put the led on my food and started grabbing cups and the scoopers to put the food in which I believe was for the sides for the next customer still WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS. The guy comes to the window and I asked excuse me is she not going to wash her hands? He then tells her she comes to the window and said what happen? I said are you not going to wash your hands after petting the dog? She than said well I’m not the one making the food. I said that’s still very unsanitized you were touching all over that dog and you’re dealing with food and touching containers to put the food in. She than looked at me rolled her eyes and started speaking Spanish to whoever was back there by the food and washed her hand. That is so nastyyyyyyy. I literally will not give this location another dollar from me and I will be telling everyone I know not to go to this location. I’m not the one to complain but that’s an animal and you’re dealing with food. And yes I drove off and left the food there did not pay after she walked away rolling her eyes and went to wash her hand.
It's fast food that is really good. Some of the most flavorful chicken I have ever had.Food: 5/5
The food was packaged horrible she asked me if I wanted straws instead of just giving them to me if you order drinks you want straws and then the food had no flavor the chicken was bland and hard was not like fresh soft chicken like it used to be it was just it was horrible I haven't eaten in El Pollo loco in a while and I won't go back it's too bad cuz I used to really love their salads but not anymore

Wow. I've been to a lot of el pollo loco a lot of times and this was really really bad. I mean like top 5 worst dining experiences ever. I came here at 6 o'clock on a Monday night, ordered a three piece meal with rice, beans, and an extra side of corn. The chicken was shriveled up and looked like it had been sitting out for two days. It was so dry and nasty it was barely edible. The corn was super dark yellow and old, the salsas were off and not mixed right, but nothing prepared me for the rice. I'm not exaggerating when I say this. The rice literally tasted like straight up urine. I was absolutely starving when I got here but I couldn't finish this food. Straight up nasty. There's no excuse for the level of nastiness here.
Worst place to order food from, my wife ordered 2 chicken tostadas salad they gave her the wrong order, she took it in right away and they refused to make her the right order instead decided to argue with her and say she was in the wrong and that it was her fault the order was wrong, the manager then proceeded to start speaking bad about her in Spanish to her employee, my wife tried to repay to get the right order and the manager refused once again to take her order, another employee decided to help her out but they still refused to make her the correct order and didn’t allow her to place a new one, instead they handed her two tostada bowls a side of rice and beans and told her to make them herself. My wife speaks Spanish by the way so she understood everything that was said about her, I can’t believe the level of unprofessionalism displayed by the “Manager”, we hardly ever eat out and the for reasons like this, and this being my first time here they definitely showed how unethical, disrespectful, and what disgusting display of customer service they have. The mere fact that my wife was not rude to them, she did not raise her voice or start causing a scene, I can’t seem to understand how they feel so entitled to just speak to a customer like that, I will never and I mean never try and eat here ever again and honestly wouldn’t recommend this place to any one . I have to give it a one star but if it were up to me I wouldnt even give them half a star
Chicken was very dry and the pieces were so tiny. The rice was hard like they didn't have time to cook it.
Try the Pollo Bowl it's great! So I actually tried something else. The Queso Blanca burrito. 1st time on Chase & Avocado. It was fabulous. The next time I had it just wasn't the same. Not as much chicken. Today I had to go to another El Pollo Loco cuz Chase doesn't open until 11am. Anyway the same burrito on Broadway tasted and looked completely different. It wasn't "white" at all. And there was maybe 2 or 3 bites that had chicken in them. Actually it sucked. I won't be going to that location again.
