El Tapatio Restaurant was established in 1979, by Antonio Velasco. Now in it's 4th generation, the Velasco Family still owns and operates the veteran mexican restaurant of Pleasant Hill, CA. All our dishes from our menu our authentic home recipes from our Mama Rena (Antonio's mother). You can still find "Grandpa Tony and Grandma Alicia" watching over the restaurant operations any weekday. "Big Papa Ramon" (Antonio's son) can be seen "running the show" these days and can be contacted regarding any catering and/ or banquet room rentals. We invite you to come visit us and become one of the family, while enjoying our authentic dishes from the heart of Mexico, Guadalajara, Jalisco.
