Fantastic energy in this place. Very unassuming fro the outside but the inside is very intimate and engaging, full of books and posters, never a dull moment. The service was FANTASTIC and quick, and most importantly the food was amazing.

Great food, vegetarian and vegan deliciousness!! Many options from light to heavy meals, many various drink options, very warm and comfy atmosphere. Reminds me of the Pacific northwest kind of cafes, or NorCal. Books on the wall to read, local hangouts, friendly atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. Local gem! Love it, hard to find places like this in SoCal that aren't just trying to "buy a vibe". Genuine vibe, genuine authenticity. Great for a casual date or even a meeting with co-workers or friends. 5 💥

I'm not a vegan, don't care much about organic, soy's fine by me and gluten is.. I don't really know. But I love food; plant based, healthy, garden grown, farmers market fresh food. And I love cooking. I've cooked for my family for 20 years. I just taught a cooking camp for kids. When I cook I do it with love. I give this little piece of heaven in LA a full 5 stars because they have soul, passion, talent, skill and heart. We ordered the fritata and the buckwheat french toast. Knowing what I'm eating is made with healthy (er) ingredients makes what I'm eating more enjoyable. Flavors, of course are palatte pleasing, but when you can combine a variety of fresh healthy ingredients and amazing flavors,.. I just don't have words. Not using gratuitous salt and butter like most restaurants.. I got chills eating here. I'm not religious, or even spiritual, but this brunch was my church. Hats off to the owners. Service and hospitality were friendly, welcoming and attentive. The decor is shabby; books sorted by subject, an eclectic mix of tables and chairs and warm music completed our experience. I can't say how deeply satisfying this little joint felt to my soul. Thank you Elderberries Threefold Cafe. I wish you the best. You're a real gem. I have to drive back to Idaho tomorrow, otherwise I'd become a regular. And co-incidentally, we were out here for our 20th wedding anniversary, so the quote on your piano was pleasantly fitting.
