Super groovy Austin Powers themed bar in the heart of downtown Glendale. Fantastically detailed atmosphere straight out of the 1970's: fuzzy walls, rainbow lights, disco balls, and music that makes you wanna get up and dance. It has two stories with a bar on each level, plenty of seating and a VIP section for parties. They even have characters from the movies walking around and interacting with patrons. The bartenders are on-point and know how to deliver a delicious cocktail. Everyone there seems to always be having a great time. If you like Good Times at Davey Wayne's, you'll love Electric Pussycat.

While the drinks and food are flavorful and well themed, the music and energy was lackluster and missing something. Our group all agreed that the theming was great and creative but we expected there to at least be a managed last of music or a DJ instead of just a playlist consisting almost entirely of non 60s/70s music. It's a fun bar to visit, but I didn't feel like part of the Austin Powers entourage.

Visually the place is very nice and fun. Service was the worst. Never did get my drink after 40 mins and left. Wasn’t the only group expressing the same feelings. Unorganized staff. Would NOT go back

It was a fun little spot. Not exactly what we expected. But cute. We went on a Wednesday night, and there really was hardly anyone there. Which is nice because you can get a drink when you want and you're not worrying about people bumping into you and you can find a spot to sit no problem, but it's also a little boring. It's a lot smaller inside than we expected. Pretty much all the drinks were a miss for me. I ordered a Bigglesworth, which had like a coconut flavor. They put a ton of alcohol in it, so that's all I could really taste unfortunately. I didn't end up even finishing it. Don't get me wrong more alcohol is awesome, but not when you're driving. My husband and brother-in-law both got a smoke and a pancake. Which everyone agreed kind of tasted like a lemon drop and a red hot cinnamon candy. Those were actually pretty decent. My sister just had a beer. My brother-in-law ordered a drink called Man of Mystery. We all tasted it and it was the grossest thing we've ever had in our lives. It doesn't really tell you on the menu what's in it so we just thought we'd give it a go. I'm pretty sure they put Liquid Smoke in it cuz that's all you taste and it burns your throat. They had cayenne pepper around the rim so we knew it was going to be spicy. That wasn't the problem. The Taste was absolutely awful. It just tasted like chemicals and burning. The only food they really have is different kind of grilled cheese sandwiches. For some reason that was a big thing in that era. We had one with bacon in it. It was pretty darn good, but small. Honestly the prices are really not that bad. For four specialty drinks, two beers, and two sandwiches it was about 75 bucks. I really thought it was going to be more. And they didn't charge us for the nasty drink, which was really nice of them. All of the staff was super friendly. They had only two actors that day being on Wednesday. They had a fembot, and they had mini me there. Mini-Me is named Gabriel and we sat and talked with him for a bit. Really cool dude. They said they only have Austin Powers on Saturdays. I'm sure on Saturdays it's also hopping. But there was only a handful people in and out throughout the night. I guess they close at 11 because a server came by and said last call and they were closing in a few minutes. Kind of odd but I guess again it is Wednesday. So when we found this online it told us we had to have reservations. I guess that might hold true on the weekends but there was nobody in there to need reservations. lol They don't ask, and we just pretty much walked right in and we didn't even show them our reservation paper. The music really didn't fit the Era either. It was kind of hip Hoppy. We were expecting 60s maybe 70s music. Inside it's pretty cute. A lot of leopard and zebra print. They have a Buggy car which once you go upstairs you'll see is the DJ booth. There's a couple stripper poles around. And they also have another bar upstairs, which I'm guessing is only open on the weekends. They also have four hanging chairs up there that hang, and are pretty cool. Even though there wasn't a whole lot of people there we still had a good time. Maybe one of these days we'll try on a weekend.
