Simply awesome!  Huge bar and restaurant with outdoor seating.  Chat with the servers and they'll hook you up with the best stuff as you people watch!

I have been here on several ocassions to celebrate birthdays or simply have brunch with the whole family, we mainly come for the mariachi. 
The quality of food is OK, i have only had the buffet here and most things are bland and very few have any actual flavor of Mexican cuisine. What I really did not like was that this Sunday we celebrated a birthday, everyone had the buffet and the total was $370 but then the waiter added a $56 Tip into the bill which does not make any sense considering this wasn't a full-service occasion. The only thing they served was water and coffee we served ourselves from the buffet. Anyways its a nice place to go if you like mariachi and dont care too much about quality.

I like this place. Been there multiple times and very happy every time. Great drinks options. Get a patio table if you can. There are parking garages around that you can get validated or there is a free parking in a garage across street. Great location, tons of places to walk around, hang out, chill. Good food. Lots of veggie options. Good place for date or for a friends and family gathering.

So I'm in town for work, staying across the street.  I find the only open seat at the bar, sit down.  Couple minutes till the bartender acknowledges that I exist, that's fine they're busy I get it.  I ask for a classic margarita.  Worst margarita I've ever had, and I've had some bad ones.  Tasted like a glass of watered down cheap tequila with no lime flavor whatsoever.  Guy never hands me a menu, never comes back, never asks me any questions or if I want anything else.  After about 10 minutes the guy bussing the bar sees me and brings me some chips and salsa.  I decide F this place, I'm not spending any money here, polish off the chips and pay for my margarita and I'm out.  It took 15 minutes from the time I told him I wanted my check to when I got it, I had to flag down one of the other bartenders to get it.  I can't believe that this place is still in business in such an expensive neighborhood.  Maybe they only treat young people this way? Even though I have money and I was ready to spend it? And tip well?  I don't get it.  Based on the reviews here and on yelp, this awful service at Frida is a clear pattern.  My experience wasn't a one off because some bartender was having a bad day, it's likely what you'll get too.

I had a great time here, took my momma here for mothers day and man it was delicious!! They had mariachi and fresh tacos, eggs and tortillas made on the spot. It was so delicious and I thank you for your outstanding service!! I wish I could have received my picture I took with my mom that the camera girl took.
